Random Sundays

I thought it might be kinda fun for all of you to get to know a little about the woman behind Today’s Give Away…ME. There’s nothing wrong with a little personalizing my site…right?! And besides, where else can I ramble on and on with a captive audience of hundreds of people. hee hee. Ok, so I promise not to ramble on and on. Hopefully whatever it is I have to share will be of interest to someone.

Since Sundays are typically days where I don’t feature new giveaways or reviews, I thought it would be a perfect day for my randomness. So, as of today, Sundays with TGA will now be referred to as Random Sundays. Whoo Hoo!

Since the majority of us celebrated Halloween yesterday, I thought I’d share with you the fun and exciting things that happens around our house during this time of year. Halloween is a HUGE event at my husband’s work. When I say HUGE, I mean go all out, spend 2 days decorating the offices, partying, playing and everything fun you can think of that goes along with Halloween. They even have a budget where each department is allotted a certain amount of money to help pay for costumes, decorations, candy, and whatever else needed to add to the spirit of Halloween. Each year the company has a theme and each department can break off and do their own “thing” as long as it stays within the designated theme. So, last year my husbands department decided they were going to be the Ghostbusters. My husband wanted to be the Stay Puft Marshmallow man and so this is the costume he came up with and created by himself. Let’s just say it took a LOT of white duct tape. He was the hit of the party and even took 1st place in the company costume contest.

This year, the theme is the 80′s and so my husbands department chose to be G.I. Joe…the cartoon. So, my husband chose to be Snake Eyes. YEAH…no duct tape. hee hee

This is the Turret Gun created by my husband. He is so creative and artistic and all I can do is draw stick figure people. It’s so not fair!

On the 2nd day of the festivities, the families of the employees are invited to attend the Halloween Party put on by his company. There are several hundred employees and so the parties are crazy big…but, soooooo much fun! This year was no different….tons of people…but TONS of FUN!
